Plus One Club Clinics & Activities
Are you the non-rail half of a couple attending the 2024 National NMRA Convention in long Beach?
 Or Do you wish you could find somewhere to rest your feet and brain after clinics or crafting or touring?
 Well, we are offering everyone (rail and non-rail) a hospitality suite for just these breaks or to socialize with other convention goers. There will be plenty of jigsaw puzzles, a water station and a variety of other things to relax with. Or you can participate with the Plus Ones in their activities and presentations!

Plus One Club Welcome Breakfast

Come join us for a yummy continental breakfast and hear from Michelle Kempema, head of the Women in Model Railroading Special Interest Group (SIG), as well as a presentation from Project Linus Chairman, Kathy Stoner.

Diamond Art

No real diamonds here, but try your hand at this shiny, beautiful style of picture-making with beads. Easy to learn with lovely results.

No-Sew Ornaments

There are few things that symbolize coziness and warmth quite like quilted items. Learn how to make quick, easy quilt-look ornaments.

Legocraft

When you hear the word Lego, do you think nubby little blocks that form nubby little buildings? Well, not in this clinic! You will get to build your own little piece of Lego magic and see some of the amazing and enchanted pieces of art that can be made with nubby little blocks.
